Who are we?
Mateo Suarez & The Public Ear is the rock-fusion project led by multi-instrumentalist and producer Mateo Suarez, combining elements of jazz, Latin, funk, soul and more with rock and blues through his band The Public Ear. Inspired by Frank Zappa, WAR, and Traffic, the band is full of talent: featuring a lineup of Mateo Suarez on keys, vocals and guitar, Trilian Krug on drums, Benicio Martinez Bassett on guitar & percussion, Sky Anne Watson on background vox, and Liam on bass. The band is based out of Chicago, Illinois, and its members met at Columbia College Chicago. The band is always looking for opportunities.
